About the Mercury Bay Cricket Club

Incorporated in 2016, the Mercury Bay Cricket Club includes teams from the north eastern region of the Coromandel Peninsula. This area includes Whangapoua, Kuaotunu, Matarangi, Whitianga, Cooks Beach, Hahei, Hot Water Beach and Whenuakite.

The clubs home ground is located at the Mercury Bay Multi-Sport Park in Whitianga.

Our Programs

The Mercury Bay Cricket Clubs programs include Senior, Junior, invitational and skills based programs. The following programs are available for 2018 – 2019. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on weather, click here for further information.

SENIOR CRICKET

Senior Cricket includes weekend matches between local teams. Senior Cricket is available for players of both sexes over 16 and will be played at the Mercury Bay Multi-Sport Park in Whitianga.

Schedule: Fortnightly, Sunday @ 11.00 AM
Dates:  Current to 15th December 2018

JUNIOR CRICKET

Junior Cricket includes weekend matches between local teams. Is available for players of both sexes under 16 and is based on demand. Games will be played at the Mercury Bay Multi-Sport Park in Whitianga.

Schedule: Weekly, Saturday 09.30am to 12.30am
Dates: Current to 15th of December 2018

JUNIOR SKILLS

Our Junior Skills program is a mid-week training program for players of both sexes aged between five and nine. the Junior Skills program will be held at the Mercury Bay Multi-Sport Park in Whitianga.

Schedule: Weekly, Saturday 09.30am to 12.30am
Dates: Current to 15th of December 2018

TWILIGHT CRICKET:

Twilight Cricket is open to all ages, sexes and skills. A great time to be had by all.
Games will be will be played at the Mercury Bay Multi-Sport Park in Whitianga on Thursday nights.

Schedule: Weekly, Thursday @ 6.00PM
Dates: 6th of December to 20th December 2018

Thames Valley

Superstar Cricket
Waikato Valley Cricket is offering a fantastic 8 session programme for boys and girls aged 5 years and up.  The Superstar Academy is an exciting fundamental skills programme to start children on the road towards the Black Caps or White Ferns.  The cost is $40 which includes fantastic giveaways including a bat, backpack, water bottle, ball and cap for each participant over the course of the programme.

Dates so far are 9:30am Saturday 3rd NOV for muster day / skills, (miss a week), then 17th November, 24th November and 1st December.  We will make up the following 4 sessions based on weather either in December, January or February.
